The TEDxBrisbane audience is a remarkable group of people. We handpick our audience, filling it with open-minded, curious, and intelligent people looking to make a difference. They are people who see a change is needed, and they want to be a part of the solution – a participant, rather than a complacent spectator.
Many of our participants have ideas of their own they can discuss, refine and nurture with other attendees on the day.
We also invite our confirmed ticket holders to submit their own idea for a better world to our curatorial team for consideration as part of our One-minute Pitch competition. Our curatorial team selects finalists, who are invited to present their idea worth spreading in a one minute pitch from the TEDxBrisbane stage on event day.
This opportunity is exclusively available to our participants – people who have successfully applied to be in our audience and purchased their ticket. Instructions on how to apply are provided after the ticket purchase is complete.
Regardless of whether people make it to the stage as finalists, they can join all our other participants in discussing, refining and nurturing ideas with other attendees on the day.
